We rank Express Entry candidates in the pool using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). About every 2 weeks, we invite the top candidates in the pool to apply for permanent residence during rounds of invitations.

Description of the table fields
The CRS has changed over time. You can check which version of the Ministerial Instructions respecting the Express Entry system was in force on the day a given round was held to see on what basis candidates were ranked for invitation.
